Chicago Restaurant Week: March 19 - April 4
Choose Chicago’s Chicago Restaurant Week is almost here! Running from March 19 - April 4, diners can enjoy special prix fixe menus from restaurants throughout Chicago, including some delicious spots in Lakeview and Roscoe Village. Diners will have the flexibility to experience Chicago Restaurant Week through indoor and outdoor dining, or at home with delivery and takeout options.
Chicago’s Indoor Dining Expanded To 50 Percent
Bars and restaurants can now expand indoor capacity to 50 percent as the city continues its fight against coronavirus. While restaurants are taking every precaution they can to create a safe dining experience, please remember to do your part as well by following the city’s guidelines for diners. Make sure to wear face coverings at all times unless you are eating or drinking, and face coverings are required when restaurant staff approaches your table. Please also keep in mind that there is a limit of a maximum of six patrons per table and you must remain seated at your table whenever you are not eating or drinking.

DoorDash launches Main Street Strong Accelerator Program
Alongside Accion Opportunity Fund, DoorDash has created an eight-week course to meet the needs of restaurant owners most impacted by the pandemic. The Accelerator aims to redress the hardships of COVID-19, which have disproportionately impacted businesses owned by women, immigrants, or people of color.
White House Announces Changes to PPP
The White House has announced improvements to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) today to ensure the loan program better reaches the smallest businesses and those owned by people of color and particularly those who struggled to access it during the first rounds of funding last year.
