Alongside Accion Opportunity Fund, DoorDash has created an eight-week course to meet the needs of restaurant owners most impacted by the pandemic. The Accelerator aims to redress the hardships of COVID-19, which have disproportionately impacted businesses owned by women, immigrants, or people of color. DoorDash will deploy $2M in grants across participating program participants to respond to the pandemic’s unique challenges and invest in their operations for the future. Grants will be made in two $10,000 payments, one at the start and one at the end of the program in May.

How to Apply

The applications are open to Chicago restaurant owners operating 3 or fewer restaurant locations and less than 50 employees across all locations. To learn more and apply, visit doordashimpact.com/acceleratorThe applications open on February 23 and close on March 2, 2021, at 3 pm CST.
