Become a part of the conversation: Each year in the fall, the Chicago Police Department hosts Community Conversations throughout the city. These conversations are an opportunity for Chicagoans to participate in the creation of their district’s strategic plan for the following calendar year.
Lincoln Ave & Roscoe St Beer Stroll: ONE WEEK AWAY!
Taste Chicago's craft beer scene as businesses along Lincoln Avenue and Roscoe Street transform into tasting destinations! This Halloween-themed ticketed event includes beer samples from local breweries at popular shops along Lincoln Ave. and for the first year ever, Roscoe St.! This event features three routes, with 30 local businesses and restaurants participating and over 30 different types of craft beer to try on each route.

New COVID Boosters Now Available In Chicago, Giving More Protection Against Common Omicron Variants
New booster shots that offer far greater protection against the most common variants of COVID-19 are now available in Chicago — and people should get them as soon as possible, city leaders said earlier this week. The bivalent boosters are free and available to everyone 12 and older who has already gotten their initial vaccine shots.

Join us on Thursday October 6th and Friday October 7th from 10am - 8pm for the 15th annual Shop for Schools where participating businesses in Roscoe Village pledge to give back 20% of their sales to our local participating schools. Shoppers will be able to choose the school they would like their donation to go to upon purchasing. Give back to your school, or spread the wealth across all participating schools! Our chamber will donate up to $6,000 to the top 6 placing schools.

Carpe Librum Chicago is having a pop-up used book market from 11am - 6pm at Southport Plaza along the Lakeview Low-Line to raise funds for Turning the Page. It will feature thousands of books for all ages donated by the community. This is a great opportunity to pick up books for yourself or as a gift to help support this amazing organiztion!
