Race Day Logistics
The in-person run is set to commence at 8 a.m. with the singing of the national anthem near the starting line at the corner of Magnolia Avenue and Addison Street. In-person runners will race through the Lakeview neighborhood before entering the ballpark to run on the warning track on the field as a part of the course. A course map is available here.
In order to create a safe running environment for Race to Wrigley 5K Charity Run participants, several streets in the Lakeview community will be temporarily closed to parking and traffic. The following information is intended to help residents plan in advance and avoid delays within the neighborhood. Please be sure to read all posted signs before parking.
The following streets will be temporarily closed the morning of Saturday, September 14, to accommodate the course. Streets will reopen as soon as runners pass and in past years, most streets have reopened around 9:30 a.m. We will again work to reopen the streets as soon as possible this year.
