Let the spring cleaning begin! Our annual Clean and Green Day is coming up on April 22nd at 9AM and we need volunteers.
Meet us outside of Commonwealth Tavern April 22nd at 9AM to help clean up the neighborhood! All volunteers will be provided with tools, clean-up bags and gloves.We will also provide coffee and donuts for the participants sponsored by Commonwealth Tavern and Dip and Sip Donuts. Volunteers can choose their own areas of the neighborhood or we can assign one to you. This can count as community service hours for students who need them. Can’t wait to see you all there!
This year, we are partnering with Cradles to Crayons Chicago for this event! Cradles to Crayons is an eco-friendly, non-profit organization that collects used clothing for local Chicagoland children in need of essentials. All items collected are distributed free of charge and stay in the community to reduce the donors carbon footprint. We are looking for gently-used clothing, baby sizes to adult medium. So, if you’re doing some Spring cleaning at home and have items to donate, you may drop off donations at Commonwealth Tavern, 2000 W. Roscoe or Total Results Gym, 2211 W Roscoe.
