Nurture Your Relationship with Food & Your Body Power Hour (Summer Edition)

Summer – it’s a time where we get outside more, get together with more people, and hang out at pools and beaches.

There are so many things to love about summer, but when it comes to your body, what comes up?

When thinking about catching up with friends and family, do you get excited, but also dread it at the same time? You want to hang out with everyone, but you just don’t feel comfortable or confident in your body.

Or you get invited to the beach, but the thought of being seen in a bathing suit gives you hives.

What if these feelings about your body aren’t really about your body?

During this power hour, join Certified Holistic Health Coach, Laura B. Folkes to explore:

* What leads us to feel like we need to be at a certain size before we can start taking action or putting ourselves “out there”
* What’s really happening when we feel we need to “fix” our bodies
* Where your beliefs about your body stem from
* Action steps you can take to start shifting your feelings about your body so you can take advantage of all that summer has to offer

What to Expect from the Session:

In the first part of this call, we’ll go through journaling prompts to see what leads to judging your body and feeling out of control with it, or like you need to “fix” it.

The second part will be for discussion based on what you uncovered during the journaling exercise, as well as an open forum to answer any and all questions. It will be a safe, confidential, and judgment-free space. Because of that, this call will not be recorded.
