Topic: Get the Facts: Monkeypox
Description: Presented by the Chicago Department of Public Health
Chicago is experiencing an outbreak of Monkeypox (MPV). MPV is a viral infection transmitted through close contact. Common symptoms include rash or unusual sores, fever, chills, head or muscle aches, or swelling of the lymph nodes. To date, some, but not all, cases have been identified among gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men. Join this webinar to learn how MPV is spread, MPV symptoms, persons who are at risk for infection, vaccination, and ways to protect yourself and others. There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation.
