Every year the Streets & Sanitation Department sponsors a citywide "Clean & Green" where neighborhood groups and block clubs are given free litter pickup and gardening supplies to help clean up our parks. This year's "Clean & Green" will be on Saturday, April 23rd and groups are asked to register by Monday, April 18th. Registered groups will be provided with brooms, rakes, shovels, and garbage bags.
