Monday November 6th we will perform a program that was built little by little: Susan Warner proposed Prokofiev "Overture on Hebrew themes", such a wonderful and demanding piece! Then I proposed Poulenc "Les Chemins de l'Amour", the Poulenc family is awaiting this rendition. Then came "Trepak" Mussorgsky that we wanted to perform with Andrew Schultze since our time in Fine Arts Building. Mozart.."Là ci darem la mano", proposed by Kirsten Leslie. And Ravel.. I will play Les Valses Nobles et Sentimentales. And we'll have his "Sonata for violin and cello", with amazing Kevin Case and Nazar Dzhuryn. This concert would not be possible without Ann Palen, violin and Terri Van Valkinburgh, viola. Our concert will end with Prokofiev.
