Nonprofit Capacity Building Readiness Summit

The Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP) has launched The City of Chicago Nonprofit Capacity Building Program (NCBP). This program was designed to provide access to curated coaching and education programs for Chicago area nonprofits in an effort to support nonprofit organizations gain access to capital, funding, and other resources to counteract the effects of the pandemic.

The UIC School of Public Health will be hosting this virtual workshop for nonprofit leaders on June 15th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Topics covered include:

  • An overview of the Nonprofit Capacity Building Program

  • Basics of How to Apply for a City Grant

  • Mock Review of a Grant Application

  • A Panel of Non-Profit Leaders on Lessons Learned in Applying to City Funding
