How to Get Your Business Certified in the State of Illinois - Webinar

In today’s highly competitive market, many small business owners fail to take full advantage of the business growth opportunities available to them through small business certifications.

Many government agencies require that some percentage of the procurements be set aside and a substantial number of contracts be rewarded to certified businesses. Having your business certified can aid in you successfully competing for and obtaining government contracts.

The State of Illinois Business Enterprise Program (BEP) for businesses owned by minorities, women, and persons with disabilities is committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable and competitive business environment that will support underrepresented businesses increase their capacity, grow revenue, and enhance credentials.

Opportunities are made available through goals set on state government contracts over $105,000 as a way to provide growth opportunities to small, diverse owned businesses. Illinois also has a Small Business Set Aside program available to all small businesses based in Illinois regardless of race or gender.
