Money Smart Week is a program created by the Federal Reserve Bank in Chicago. Since 2002, the Federal Reserve and many community partners, including the Chicago Treasurer’s Office, have worked together to present financial literacy programming for all ages during the first week in April.

Join the Chicago City Treasurer’s Office for Money Smart Week to be held April 12-17, 2021. Money Smart Week will be a free all-virtual experience providing financial literacy programming for all ages.  The purpose of this week is to help communities better manage their personal finances with a focus on those hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic.

All week long the Chicago Treasurer’s Office, along with their participating partners will host programming focused on one daily “Money Smart” theme.
