Workshop Overview
Budgeting : Discover strategies to build a simple budget and pay off debt. Learn common reasons why people find themselves in debt and the most common types of debt. Describes the value of using debt management strategies such as loan consolidation, budgeting, and debt management plans. Finally, participants will compare various debt management solutions and create a personal plan about how to manage their debt. (May 3)
Business Acumen : Learn the three most important financial documents: balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports. By the end, you will be able to prepare or work with a professional to prepare these documents. Identify the types of credit available to your business such as lines of credit, credit cards and loans. (May 4)
5C’s of Credit : Understand the process of a business loan. Deep dive into the 5C’s: Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral, and Condition. (May 5)
