Welcome New Businesses to Lakeview & Roscoe Village!
We are so excited to welcome new businesses to Lakeview and Roscoe Village! Check out recently opened businesses below and stop in to give them a warm welcome to our neighborhoods.
Konbini and Kanpai (1433 W Belmont): Our love of the Japanese convenience store (aka Konbini) and sharing some of our most memorable moments over a cold beer or refreshing wine led us to opening Konbini & Kanpai liquor store in Lakeview. At Konbini & Kanpai you can explore craft beers, wines, sakes, and non-alcoholic beverages available for an on-site sip & chill (price + corkage fee), grab & go, or order & delivery.
CB Creative Consulting: A Chicago based company specializing in interior decorating + styling. With over 10 years of visual experience in luxury fashion industry working for brands like Marc Jacobs and Kate Spade, I bring a different approach to interior decorating. Our goal is to blend style with function; creating livable spaces on a variety of budgets. We offer an array of services (head on over to the Services tab) ranging from full scale decorating to projects as small as helping you pick paint color.
Freezing Point (3127 N. Ashland Ave): They are a family-owned ice cream shop offering hand-rolled ice cream, smoothies and bubble tea. They take pride in making each hand-rolled ice cream perfect for their customers and offer a unique dessert experience for both kids & adults.
Coffee, Hip Hop, and Mental Health: They are here to serve the people living in high-poverty neighborhoods like Chicago and other US cities who are typically exposed to multiple on-going traumas, such as generational school failure, drug abuse, incarceration, and violence in and out of the home. Too much exposure to chronic trauma increases the likelihood of negative outcomes for everyone living in these conditions. The beauty of their work is rooted in creating necessary opportunities for people to open up and build. Encouraging the black & brown community to speak up for themselves. Creating access to physical, emotional and mental well-being, while also working to create economical opportunities. You can’t truly focus on your mental health if you’re too busy trying to survive. They work to normalize their physical, emotional and mental well-being.
Trophy Paws Pet Grooming: A new neighborhood dog and cat grooming company. Their product line consists of natural products for our furry friends to enjoy their spa day.
MK Noodle (3341 N. Lincoln Ave): With 25 years of experience cooking in Vietnamese Pho & Asian styled-restaurant, MK Noodle wants to bring you to a new NOODLE experience with them. They have plenty of tables for you to sit at and they worked to package their meals in a way that lets you bring the quality of their food into your home. Plus, they source their fresh ingredients from local farmers' markets.
Glow Birth & Body (2120 W Belmont Ave): Glow® Birth & Body is the embodiment of the passion, care and dedication of Sara Lyon; author, massage therapist, doula and birth educator. As their family of massage therapists, birth educators and doulas has grown, they’ve been welcomed into the homes and lives of over 10,000 women - each bringing her own needs, differences, and perspectives to the massage table. Learning, growing, and sharing these special moments with you are what keep us going at Glow®, and we look forward to supporting even more women as we continue to grow. Glow® Birth & Body was created by women, with women, for women - to redefine your pregnancy experience with love.
