Hispanic Heritage Month Is Sept 15 - Oct 15
Hispanic Heritage Month takes place from Sept 15 - Oct 15 and we are celebrating by highlighting the wonderful Latinx owned businesses in our community. Here’s how to enjoy a day supporting some of the Latinx owned businesses in Lakeview and Roscoe Village. Start your day off with a delicious dulce de leche at Cafe Tola, which is espresso and steamed milk with caramel sauce.
For dinner, meet up with a group of friends at Cafe El Tapatio, Tango Sur, Cuba 312 or Dona Tola and then grab dessert at the Churro Parlor or Brick and Cake and enjoy live music at the Beat Kitchen.
We hope you enjoy your day supporting Latinx owned businesses in Lakeview and Roscoe Village in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
After grabbing a tasty coffee, shop sustainable clothing at The Guild, Mexican bohemian styles and hats made in Tulum at Malosa Boutique and one-of-a-kind kids clothes at BabyDolls Boutique. B Collective is a great spot for plants and home decor. Then, connect with Richard Batista at JJ Nate Real Estate & Management to look into finding your dream home or invest in a rental property.
For lunch, check out Chicago’s Pizza, Tatas Tacos, Rica Arepa or Papacito’s Mexican Grille, and then treat yourself with a visit to Conexion Salon, Lik Salon, Rebel Lash or Elite Chicago Spa. Afterwards, treat your pet or your friend’s pet to a new toy at Bark by the Park and give Pitter Patter Parenting a call for pet education and care services.
